Center for Active Seniors, Inc. (CASI) Collection 1996-164
Date: c. 1988
Scope Notes: This collection consists of 29 color and 2 black and white prints related to CASI and 1 fund-raising brochure related to the Lend-A Hand Club. From 1973 to 1990 the Center for Active Seniors, Inc. (CASI) was located in the Lend-A-Hand building at 105 South Main Street, Davenport (southeast corner of Main and River Drive.) Color photographs were taken by donor Marjean Drewelow, who was Volunteer Coordinator at CASI when photos were taken and at time of deposit. Black and white photographs were taken by Tano Dean while she was CASI Resources and Development Director. Some images dated 1988 on verso, so most images probably from about the same time. Images seem to document several CASI events including a Halloween Party, Volunteer Day, Senior Olympics and a birthday party for Don Grim, organist at LAH/CASI.
Several objects related to the Lend-A-Hand Club were also part of this donation.
