Advocate For the Putnam
The Putnam Museum Guild is dedicated to supporting the Putnam Museum and Science Center through fundraising, volunteering, and promoting the museum throughout the community.
Founded in 1960 to help preserve and organize all of the museum’s artifacts before they were moved from downtown Davenport to the museum’s current site, the Guild is a vital part of the Putnam’s existence!
Why Join?
Membership in the Putnam Museum Guild is open to men and women of all ages, interests, and backgrounds. The only requirements are an interest in and willingness to get involved, the determination to support the work of the Putnam Museum and Science Center, and a payment of modest annual dues. (Dues are $10 annually for a regular membership or $25 annually for a sustaining membership.)
In joining the Guild, you benefit yourself, the Putnam, your community museum and science center, and generations of community residents. Below are several ways that the Guild is involved in the Putnam Museum and Science Center.
