Travel to Japan with the Putnam Museum

Wednesday, May 20
5:30 pm  |  Putnam Museum

Have you ever dreamed of traveling to Japan? Join the Putnam Museum for an informal, information‑packed meeting to learn more about a special 2027 trip to Japan, one that connects travel, history, and culture.

This journey is part of a special moment, helping celebrate 100 years of friendship with Japanese friendship dolls, but the heart of the trip is all about experiencing Japan.

Here’s a taste of what’s being planned:

  • Visiting temples, museums, gardens, and historic castles
  • Walking through a bamboo forest and seeing monkeys up close at a monkey park
  • A geisha experience, sake tasting, and calligraphy demonstration and more.

The trip will include time in: Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Hiroshima, offering a mix of modern cities, ancient history, and beautiful landscapes.

This meeting is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and see if the trip might be right for you. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler, a history lover, or simply curious, we’d love to have you join the conversation.

No commitment required, just bring your curiosity!
