Learn about one of the biggest disasters in QC history

Every third Thursday, we’ll be serving up fascinating talks on a variety of topics, all while you enjoy a cold brew or your favorite beverage.

On Thursday, February 20th, our featured speaker will be Bret Grimes, author of the book, “The St. Elizabeth Hospital Fire in Iowa.” He will be discussing the events around one of the deadliest disasters in QC history: the fire at the St. Elizabeth Hospital. Whether you’re interested in local history, local historians, or if you’re simply curious of the darker sides of the QC, this is a session you do not want to miss!
