Casper, a friendly ghost who lives in an abandoned mansion along with his uncles, has been hoping to find a friend for over one hundred years. When a spoiled woman named Carrigan Crittenden inherits the mansion, she soon discovers that there is treasure hidden inside it. But when Casper introduces himself to them, they are frightened by him and his uncles! This leads to them trying several attempts to get them rid of the ghosts. They eventually hire Dr. James Harvey, a ghost therapist. Once he arrives along with his daughter, Kat, Casper tries to make friends with her and James while his uncles try to scare them away.
