The 11:15 and 2:15 showings will feature “Two Small Pieces of Glass.” travel from Galileo’s very first telescope to today’s mind-blowing space discoveries! Learn how scientists explore distant planets, search for life beyond Earth, and study dark energy—the mysterious force speeding up our universe!
The 1:15 and 3:15 showings will feature “Saturn: The Ring World.” The two-story Cassini-Huygens spacecraft began orbiting Saturn on July 1st, 2004 after seven years in transit. Cassini continues to explore Saturn and its moons during its extended mission while the Huygens probe has landed on the surface of Titan, Saturn’s largest moon. See Saturn up-close and all around in this film produced by the Houston Museum of Natural Science and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, narrated by Star Trek’s John Billingsley (Dr. Phlox on the Enterprise).
