Join us for an evening that hits all the right notes, as we celebrate the Putnam Collection. Select from a list of musical genres for your table theme, then decorate and dress the part to win the night.

Support the mission of the Putnam with a wine pull, fund-a-need, live auction and more. Indulge in heavy appetizers from
Monarch Kitchen + Bar and enjoy drinks in a party atmosphere like none other.

At just $100 per person, this is a unique opportunity to enjoy an incredible evening while supporting the invaluable work of the museum. Join us at the 2026 Putnam Gala and get lost in music through time!

*You will be assigned a specific time the morning of the event to come in and set up your table. If you are unable to come in to set up your table at the assigned time, other arrangements can be made.

Hosting A Table? Choose Your Musical Genre!

If you are hosting a table, you are invited to choose a music genre for your table. Your table purchase MUST be completed before signing up for your music genre. Act quickly because the sign up is first come first serve.

Table Decoration Contest — Rules & Guidelines

Get ready to set the stage and travel through sound and style. The Tunes Through Time Table Decoration Contest invites each table to bring its selected musical genre to life boldly, creatively, and within a few clear parameters.

Setup & Timing

· Setup Window: Friday, February 21 (Gala Day), 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

· All decorations must be fully installed by 3:00 PM

Theme & Creativity

· Decorations must align with the musical genre your table selected

· There is no limit to creativity, have fun, be expressive, and make it memorable

Table & Seating Specifications

· Tables are 60-inch round

· Tables will be dressed with black linens

· 8 chairs per table

· Decorations are limited to tabletop and chairs only

· Chair covers or alternative chairs may be brought in and used

What’s Allowed

· Tabletop décor and chair décor

· Battery-operated or non-powered lighting and elements

· Props and décor that stay within your table footprint

What’s Not Allowed

· Decorations that extend into walkways or disrupt movement around the table or Grand Lobby

· Rugs are allowed as long as they do not create a tripping hazard

· All décor must remain within your assigned 10′ x 10′ space

· Items hung from the ceiling or attached to walls

· Decor requiring electrical power (no power will be provided per table)

· Disruptive audio (no amplified sound, music, or noise-producing décor)

· No electrical cords of any kind may run across the floor

· Absolutely no outside alcohol is permitted

Voting

· QR codes will be placed on each table

· Gala guests will vote digitally for their favorite table décor
