STEAM Afternoon

Spend your afternoon exploring creativity, curiosity, and hands‑on fun during a special STEAM Afternoon at the Putnam! Designed for families, this engaging event features interactive programs that blend science, technology, engineering, art, and math through music, movement, and experimentation. All activities are free with general admission.

Program Schedule:

1:00 PM – Music Therapy for Families
Presented by Quad City Music Therapy in the Family Discovery Center. Families will enjoy an interactive session that encourages connection, self‑expression, and play through music.

2:00 PM – Chemistry for Kids
Join Dr. Andy in the Activity Room for exciting, kid‑friendly experiments and demonstrations that make chemistry surprising, fun, and educational.

3:00 PM – Ballet Quad Cities Mini Performance 
Watch stories come to life through movement with Ballet Quad Cities during this imaginative dance experience in the Grand Lobby.
