History On Tap: Footsteps in the Attic

Haunted Tales of the Quad Cities!

You’re home alone. You sit in the darkened living room, curled up comfortably in your favorite chair. Then the silence is broken by the distinctive creak of footsteps in the attic above. Fear seizing your chest, you grab your phone and run out of the house, dialing 911. The police arrive and go inside, ready to deal with whoever broke into your home. But when they come back out, they look puzzled. They tell you that no one was there. The attic was empty.

Join historian and storyteller John Brassard Jr. on October 19 as he tells you allegedly true stories of the haunted Quad Cities and find out what might be making the footsteps in the attic.
