Unearthing the Triceratops

Grab a drink and dig into this month’s History on Tap, featuring the Putnam’s very own Dino Expedition Team!

This summer, our team joined scientists at a dig site in Lusk, Wyoming, where they unearthed 32 Triceratops bones and even a surprise T. rex tooth! Now, they’re back to share their stories from the field, from dusty digs and thrilling discoveries to the excitement of bringing a full adult Triceratops skeleton home to the Quad Cities.

Join us for an evening of conversation, discovery, and excitement as staff reflect on their once-in-a-lifetime expedition and give a behind-the-scenes look at the multi-year project to bring this Triceratops to life at the Putnam.
