Family Discovery Center Grand Opening

A New Space for Our Youngest Explorers!

Join us on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1–3 PM at the Putnam Museum and Science Center for the Family Discovery Center Grand Opening! This event for Pre K–K educators and families offers an exclusive opportunity to explore our new interactive space designed for young learners and their families. Enjoy a tour of the Family Discovery Center, followed by a screening of Make a Circle (2024) on the GIANT Screen.

During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to meet Keosha, the Putnam’s Preschool Educator, who will share how this space supports early learning and family engagement.

The Family Discovery Center focuses on strengthening family connection through hands-on, age-appropriate interactives. With its warm, welcoming atmosphere, the Center offers a rich environment for young learners to explore, engage, and discover alongside the adults who support them.
