Get ready to embark on a wild adventure through the world of literature! This enchanting exhibit features real animals from the Putnam collection that are featured in beloved classic stories, showcasing the iconic characters that have captured the hearts of readers for generations.

From the majestic lion of Aesop’s Fables to the mischievous crocodile of Lyle, Lyle Crocodile and the woodland creatures snuggled in The Mitten, visitors of all ages will be delighted by the display of these fictional creatures brought to life.

The exhibit also features original artwork from local artists, specifically commissioned for this exhibit. Featuring many different style book and art lovers will find something the enjoy. There is even a reading nook for settling in for storytime with young and old alike.
