Let Your Imagination Run Wild
The Inventor’s Club, at the Putnam, is an exclusive opportunity for aspiring inventors and curious minds, in Grades 5 – 8. Join us for a five-session monthly Rube Goldberg workshop, September through January, where you will learn all about the fascinating techniques behind Rube Goldberg machines. All sessions run from 9 am to 11 am.
During these workshops, our expert instructor will guide you through the process of designing and building your very own Rube Goldberg contraptions. From simple chain reactions to complex sequences, you will gain hands-on experience and develop a deep understanding of these mesmerizing machines.
Prepare For Our Rube Goldberg Competition
By participating in the Inventor’s Club, you will also have the chance to prepare for our annual Rube Goldberg competition, on January 27, 2024. Put your creativity and problem-solving skills to the test as you compete against other talented inventors for the ultimate prize.
Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Rube Goldberg and unleash your inner inventor. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience in engineering, this workshop is open to kids of all skill levels in 5th through 8th grade. Join us at the Putnam and let your imagination run wild!
