Escape to a World of Enchantment!

We are thrilled to invite you to the opening day of our newest exhibit, Tails From Tales: Storybook Beasts, Saturday, November 18.

Get ready to embark on a wild adventure through the world of literature! This enchanting exhibit features real animals from the Putnam collection that are from beloved classic stories, showcasing the iconic characters that have captured the hearts of readers for generations!

From the majestic lion of Aesop’s Fables to the mischievous crocodile of Lyle, Lyle Crocodile, visitors of all ages will be delighted by the display of these fictional creatures brought to life. You won’t want to miss the 19 original artworks from local artists or take some time to read a story in the reading nook. There’s something for everyone!

Also, plan to join us for a FREE screening of Lyle, Lyle Crocodile in the GIANT Screen Theater on opening day, at 2pm.

The Putnam Museum will

CLOSE EARLY ON APRIL 18.
