From small private parties to large corporate events, the staff at the Putnam Museum and IMAX® Theatre can help make your meeting or party a unique experience for all involved.

With a wide variety of spaces available, the Museum can accommodate many styles of events, including private screenings in the IMAX® Theatre, holiday parties in the Grand Lobby, fancy cocktail parties on the Theatre Balcony, recognition dinners or training seminars in the Palmer Lecture Hall and intimate gatherings in the Kornder or Waterman Suites.

Rental of any area includes access to the Museum's Exhibit Halls, if rental takes place during regular Museum hours, and a wide variety of options for table and chair setup. The Museum is able to provide cash or host bars for your guests and works with many local caterers who are happy to discuss menu choices for any event.

There are four amazing films from which to choose: Grand Canyon Adventure 3D: River at Risk; The Alps: Giants of Nature; The Spiderwick Chronicles: The IMAX Experience and Martin Scorsese's Rolling Stones "rockumentary" Shine A Light! The Putnam's IMAX® features a giant screen six stories tall and seven stories wide; 10,000 watt digital surround sound; and is the most technologically advanced projection system in the world. It has 270 sloped, stadium-style seats and offers both 2D and 3D IMAX presentations. It was voted Best Movie Theatre in local polls. 

Then take your mummy to meet our mummy, Isis Neferit! The 3,000-year-old temple chantress resides in the Asian|Egyptian Gallery. Explore the Mississippi River environment in Black Earth/Big River exhibit hall, or discover the region's connection to the Civil War in Bloodlines, on exhibit in the Main Gallery. The Putnam also was voted Best Museum in local polls.

This special promotion applies to all IMAX films and Museum's Exhibit Halls on May 11 only.
